How do I connect my Twitch channel?

Click Connect Twitch in the dashboard and approve the official Twitch login. FoPost uses the Helix API and asks only for the permission needed to post announcements to your channel.

What does a scheduled post look like on Twitch?

It is published as a channel announcement in your chat, highlighted in your channel colour. It is not a stream title change or a VOD.

Can I attach images or video?

No. Twitch chat announcements are text and links only, so the composer keeps media off Twitch and sends it to the other networks in the same post.

Can I schedule a message for when I go live?

Yes. Set the time to your planned stream start, or schedule a reminder a few minutes before, and it posts on time whether or not you are at the keyboard.

Can I manage several Twitch channels?

Yes, through workspaces. Each workspace connects one Twitch channel, so a second channel gets its own workspace.

Is there an API for posting to Twitch through FoPost?
