Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: August 8, 2026

1. Disconnect a social account

To remove a single connected account and the data associated with it, sign in atapp.fopost.com, open Accounts, and click the disconnect icon on the account you want to remove.

Disconnecting immediately revokes the access token with the platform and deletes the stored credentials, profile information, and collected analytics for that account. Posts already published to the platform are not affected, since they live on the platform and not in FoPost.

2. Delete your FoPost account and all data

To delete your entire account, send us a deletion request through our contact form from the email address on your account, with the subject "Data deletion request".

We confirm the request, revoke every connected social account token, and delete your personal data within 30 days. We will email you when the deletion is complete.

3. What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted:

  • Your profile, workspaces, and team membership
  • Connected account credentials, access tokens, and profile information
  • Posts, drafts, schedules, media, and collected analytics

Retained after deletion:

  • Billing and tax records, for 7 years after the transaction, as required by tax and accounting law
  • Aggregated, anonymized usage data that can no longer identify you

4. Removing FoPost from Meta

You can also revoke FoPost's access directly from Meta, independently of the steps above. Open Facebook Settings, Apps and Websites, select FoPost, and remove it. Revoking access from Meta stops all further data access immediately. To also delete the data already stored in FoPost, follow step 1 or step 2 above.
