Snapchat takes exactly one MP4 per post, 5 to 60 seconds, at least 540 by 960, and it publishes no text-only post at all. A clip outside that window is caught in preflight and never leaves the queue, so a scheduled Snap does not fail at two in the morning.

Can I connect Snapchat today?

Not yet. Snapchat publishing runs through Snap’s Public Profile API, and Snap allowlists each application before its calls work. The integration is built and waiting on that grant, which is why Snapchat shows as Coming Soon rather than failing at connect time.

Does this work with a personal Snapchat account?

No. Snapchat publishing applies to a Public Profile, the profile a creator or business runs from the Snapchat Business Dashboard. A personal account has no API to publish through.

Can I post a photo or a text-only Snap?

No. Every shape Snapchat publishes through the API is a single MP4 video, and there is nowhere for a caption to render on a Story. A post with no video, or with more than one item, is refused before it is sent.

How long can the video be?

A Story or Saved Story takes 5 to 60 seconds and a Spotlight takes 6 to 60. Minimum resolution is 540 by 960, 9:16 is recommended, and the file can be up to 1 GB.

Can I delete a Snap from FoPost after it publishes?

Snapchat exposes no delete for a published Story, Saved Story, or Spotlight, so FoPost cannot take one down for you. Deleting it in FoPost removes the record here; remove the Snap itself from the Snapchat Business Dashboard.

What happens to Snaps I scheduled before the connection opens?

They stay scheduled. Drafts and scheduled posts are stored against the account slot, so connecting the profile is the only step left before they publish on the dates you already picked.
