How do I connect my Nostr identity?

Open Connect Nostr, paste your nsec or hex private key, and add the relays you publish to. FoPost stores the key encrypted and signs each event server-side so scheduled notes publish on time.

Why do you need my private key?

Nostr has no OAuth. Scheduled publishing needs a signature at publish time, which means the key must be available to the server. If you prefer, create a dedicated key for scheduled posting.

Can I add images?

Yes. Images are uploaded to hosted media and referenced by URL in the note, which is how Nostr clients display them.

Is there a length limit?

The protocol sets none, but most clients truncate long notes. The composer warns past a comfortable length and offers to publish it as a NIP-23 article instead.

Can I manage several Nostr keys?

Yes, through workspaces. Each workspace connects one Nostr key with its own relay list, so a second key gets its own workspace.

Is there an API for posting to Nostr through FoPost?

Yes. The REST API and SDKs expose the same publish and schedule endpoints the dashboard uses.
