Publishing to X
Posts, threads, articles, and media limits on X.
Posts

Hashtags are appended after the text, then the post's link. Videos, GIFs, and large images upload in chunks and FoPost waits for X to finish processing before publishing. A file X rejects fails with X's reason.
Threads
Blocks written as a thread in the composer publish as a reply chain. On the first post of a thread you can also set who can reply (everyone, accounts you follow, or only mentioned accounts) and publish into a community instead of the main feed.
Articles
A post composed as an article publishes as a native X Article: a two-step draft-and-publish on X's side, with the companion post carrying it into the feed.
- X Premium is required: without it, X rejects the article and the post fails with that reason
- A title is required
- Headings (three levels), bold, italic, strikethrough, links, lists, and quotes carry over; images are placed where you put them; pasting the URL of an X post on its own line embeds that post
- Video and GIFs cannot go inside an article
Deleting
Deleting the post in FoPost deletes it on X.
