Instagram Analytics

Post insights, account reach, audience demographics, and competitor tracking.

Per post

Views, reach, likes, comments, shares, and saves. Reels add watch time and average watch time. Metrics arrive per Instagram's insight rules for the post's type.

Per account

Followers, following, post count, plus daily reach and profile views. Recent posts are synced (including ones published in the Instagram app), so analytics reflects the account, not just what went through FoPost.

Audience demographics

Country, city, age, and gender, for three audiences: your followers, the accounts you engaged, and the accounts you reached in the last 30 days. Instagram reports demographics only above its own minimum audience size; below it the breakdown is empty rather than wrong.

Competitor tracking

Track any public Business or Creator Instagram account: recent posts, likes, and comments next to yours. This runs through Instagram's business-discovery lookup, so it is available on connections made through Facebook; a directly-connected account can be tracked as a competitor by others but cannot itself track.
