Feed posts, Reels, and carousels, with full analytics and audience demographics.
Instagram is one network with two ways to connect, and both publish the same things.
Connecting
A Business or Creator account is required either way: Instagram's API does not publish to personal accounts.
- Directly: Accounts → Connect → Instagram signs in with Instagram itself
- Through Facebook: connect via the Facebook login and pick the Instagram account linked to one of your Pages. This is the route to take if your Instagram is managed alongside a Facebook Page, and it is the one that supports competitor tracking
Tokens are long-lived and refresh automatically.
At a glance
| Capability | Status |
|---|---|
| Single image, Reel, carousel | Supported |
| Text-only posts | Not possible: Instagram requires media |
| Stories | Publish one, and read what is still live |
| Reel audio | Search Instagram's audio library |
| Publishing limit | What is left in the rolling day |
| Analytics | Post, account, and audience demographics |
| Competitor tracking | Via the Facebook-linked connection |
| Deletion | Not available: Instagram's API cannot delete; remove posts in the app |
| Messaging settings | Ice breakers and webhook health |
