Discord
Posts delivered to a channel through its webhook.
Discord delivery goes through a channel webhook: no bot to invite, no OAuth. Anything FoPost publishes appears in that one channel.
Connecting
In Discord, open the channel's settings → Integrations → Webhooks, create one, copy its URL, and paste it in Accounts → Connect → Discord. You need permission to manage webhooks in that server.
What you can publish
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Message length | 2,000 characters |
| Attachments | Up to 10: images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP) or MP4, 10 MB each |
A plain post arrives as a normal message. A post with a title or a link arrives as an embed instead: title, link, description, the first image, and tags in the footer. Attached files are delivered to the channel alongside it.
The 10 MB ceiling is Discord's own webhook upload limit. Reply chains are not possible through a webhook, so thread blocks are not supported on Discord.
Analytics and deletion
Webhooks are write-only, so there are no analytics. Deleting the post in FoPost does delete the webhook message from the channel.
