Schedule a post, repeat it, and see what happened.
Write now, publish later. Scheduled posts go out from our servers, so nothing depends on your browser being open.
Schedule one
In the composer, click Schedule instead of Publish and pick a date and time. Times are in the workspace timezone, set in Settings, so a team spread across timezones agrees on what 9am means.
Best times
Analytics works out when your audience actually engages, per account, from your own history rather than an industry average. Those slots are suggested when you pick a time. Ignore them freely: they are a starting point, not a rule, and they need a few weeks of history before they say anything useful.
Repeat a post
A post can go out on a cadence without you scheduling each occurrence: set how many times and how far apart, in hours, days, weeks, or months. The post shows how many runs are left.
For resurfacing your best evergreen posts with a fresh variant each time rather than the same text repeatedly, use recycling instead.
Change your mind
Drag a post to a new slot on the calendar, or open it and change the time. To move many at once, select them and shift the whole set by an offset.
Cancel pulls a scheduled post out of the queue. Anything already published stays published.
What happens at the time
The post is queued, then each account is delivered independently. A network that is slow or briefly down is retried automatically with a growing gap between attempts.
The post's status summarises it: published when every account landed, partially failed when some did not. Open it to see which, and why.
When something fails
The reason is on the post in plain language. Retry sends only the accounts that failed.
Some failures are worth retrying and some are not. A rate limit or a network blip is transient. An expired token, content over the limit, or a rejected media type will fail identically every time, so fix the cause first. An expired token usually means reconnecting the account.
